I can't think of a place I would rather be. Happy thanksgiving! More
pictures to come...

Today's Hump Day Hottie is Ukrainian Striker Andriy Shevchenko. Currently, Shevchenko plays for the Ukrainian club that started his career, FC Dynamo Kyiv. During his career, Andriy also played for Chelsea (pictured above in his kit) and AC Milan. Andriy Shevchenko is the fourth-highest scoring player in the history of European club competition with 62 goals.
On May 31, 2004, I saw Shevchenko play live as Hong Kong Club Kitchee took on the Italian Club, AC Milan. The game took place in Hong Kong and to the surprise of just about everyone, Kitchee beat Milan 2-1.
Happy Wednesday and Happy Thanksgiving!

Above are some of the men of the French National Team in the stands of the French Masters Tennis Tourney. Henry on the far right is clearly my favorite Frenchie.
Besides being easy on the eyes, Thierry Henry is an incredible footballer. He currently balls for my favorite Liga team, FB Barcelona; however, he earned his chops at Juventus and most notably, Arsenal. Arsenal is where Thierry Henry broke out and solidified himself as a world class player. During his career, Henry was twice nominated for FIFA World Player of the year, was named PFA Players' Player of the Year twice, and Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year three times. After spending 8 years with Arsenal, Henry transferred to FC Barcelona for a fee of 24 million euros. Henry's international expoerience is extensive as well. With the French National Team, Henry won the 1998 FIFA World Cup and the Euro 2000. Henry is also France's top goal scorer of all time. Off the pitch, Thierry Henry is an active spokeperson in a campaign to eliminate racism in football.
Happy Wednesday!

Pictured above is Spanish Footballer Fernando Torres. Fernando currently plays for Liverpool (English Premier League) and is a striker for the Spanish National Team. Torres is only 25 years old and has made three tournament appearances with the Spanish National Team, UEFA Euro 2004, 2006 FIFA World Cup, and UEFA Euro 2008. Notably, Torres scored the winning goal in Spain's 1-0 win over Germany in the UEFA Euro 2008 final. Happy Wednesday!
